Indigo Resist Printed Bandanas Botanical Dyes Generously sized at 76" XUsing a 3000 year old resist technique that originated in Nantong, China Lan Yin Hua Bu or Blue Calico. Simply put, soybean flour is mixed with hydrated lime and water to form a paste; it is applied to the cloth, allowed to dry, and then dipped in an indigo vat.
