Iron Gall Ink Pomegranate These inks are designed forIron Gall Ink Made from Oak Gallnuts (Oak Apples) and Iron Sulphate. Oak Gallnut Ink has been in use since the 4th century replacing carbon black ink. The Iron Gall Ink is made in my studio in Roanoke, VA. The ink is perfect to use with a brush on paper. The color is very light fast. It is easy to add layers to deepen the color. The ink will go on the page as a light gray and will darken significantly as it dries leaving a rich, dark black mark. These
