Initially there is a trace of reduction present though aggressive swirling is able to liberate a strikingly elegant

2013 and 2012 vintages

Moderate reduction dominates the nose at present

spice and mint add character to a wine that speaks to finesse more than pure power

This is a lighter wine for the appellation but there is plenty of character and it’s focused like a laser

Cain, Cain Five Vintage:2007 Initially there is a traceLot 7. Mid, very shaded garnet. Complex nose (and Im two thirds of the way through the tasting and this is the first time Ive used the word complex). Delicate and distinctive. Brooding and bloody. Round and rich. Just a little bit sweet on the end but a very good effort.
