The post war USN fighter F8F Bearcat used the AN5780-3 as documented in its Erection and Maintenance Manual dated 1948

It also was used in the USAF strategic bomber B-52 and the jet fighter F-100 Super Sabre (see illustrations)

12-24 hour Clock Wall-Mounted 118-12-24-W U-2 Clearly not new-old-stockThis Swiss Made Breitling Wakmann clock is very similar to aircraft clocks made in the 1940 and 50's, and is likely 1950 60's vintage given its labeling. The clock dial measures 3. 25 in diameter and the mounting base is ~4. 25 in. The clock winds as it should and runs, but its accuracy and running time have not been tested. It is in very good condition given its apparent age.
