There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured 53 53 for Tube One and 56 56 for Tube Two where minimum (65%) is 50 50 and 100% is 77 77. They have 4 48 188 5 and 4 43 188 20 date factory codes; copper support rods, horseshoe getters and excellent flashing. I have played them in my Cern Audio phono preamp and they
