50s 60s KAY WHITNEY YELLOW GINGHAM FULL SKIRTED DRESS WITH LACE SWIRLS - S 1930sLightweight yellow and white gingham cotton dress by Kay Sidney. Fitted bodice with a wide rounded neck in front and lower cut v back. Fitted waistband and sleeveless arms. Skirt is sewn in neat narrow gathers with a gorgeous fullness and midi length. Swirling piping band with yellow lace around the lower part of the skirt, looping into little swirls backed in solid yellow. Back metal zipper to fastnen. Unlined. Dress is pictured with a petticoat

Fit on model: very slightly clipped in waist

A couple of tiny marks

Bodice backed in canvas cotton

Fitted waist with a short nylon zip to the side seam

One small mark by neckline and a very slight repair to the dip of the v-neck

There are also some tiny handstitches to the seam above the zip

-Buttons have been replaced

-It looks like this has been let down at some point in it's life
