Fleeing to Pakistan with his family, he later moved to England in the 1960s to study at St Martins School of Art. Sohail's journey from a turbulent childhood to the cosmopolitan art scenes of London infused his works with a rich narrative quality, characterized by vibrant, imaginative compositions that
