It is in VG to Excellent condition with only a tiny chip on the top back side of the frame that is essentially unnoticeable when the award is hung on the wall

The album was released on Aug. 30, 1979 and while this is not a RIAA award, it was in fact certified Gold >by the RIAA on March 16, 1981 for 500,000 copies sold. The album hit #4 on the Billboard Top R&B Black Albums chart and #23 on the Top 200 Albums chart, powered by single "The Second Time Around" (which topped the Billboard Dance and Soul charts) becoming Shalamar's highest chart position
