Manufactured by J&G Meakin as part of the Glamour series during the 1940’s this vintage lidded vegetable tureen is beautifully decorated in the Meakin “Celeste” range with sky blue colour highlighted by the presence of a scalloped rim with visible fluted surface along the verge as well as along the domed lid

This item is a very tiny but detailed fine porcelain bowl with gold trim on the rim and decorated with floral patterns an a rooster on the outside as well as a single rooster on the inside on the base
