Dion "Abraham, Martin and John" White Matte RIAA Gold 45 Award - RARE OMD who served as Chairman/CEO ofRIAA Gold 45 "white matte" award for Dion single "Abraham, Martin and John"". The single was released in August 1968 and certified Gold by the RIAA on Jan. 13, 1969 for one million copies sold. Despite being a softer folk rock sound for Dion than his earlier material, the track reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
