"Self Portrait" by Kalman Oswald, Hungarian Amer., (1888-1975) Silkscreen noting their work was createdSoft Ground Etching, Ca. 1930's, Ed. unknown, 9 13 16 x 7 15 16, signed in pencil, on thin buff wove paper with small but full margins. Kalman Oswald lived with his wife Helmi in New York and Massachusetts. He attended the New School in New York, and favored portraits, nudes, still life, and both urban and rural landscape sujects in paint and print. The number of prints he made is not known; I have had a linocut and the present print. He was an
