This piece of drift wood was found on a remote island in Indonesia
This nice building in Porto attracted me with it's tall narrow door and transom window
The horizontal/landscape perspective is also very nice for architecture - and in some instances is a better fit when displayed on a wall or shelf

This type of wood is my favorite as it has many old layers of original paint - which I blend into the original building look
Apparently this building has some masonic history dating well back in Sintra's history

It needed a little attention as the paint was peeling and some boards were loose - but it was still beautiful in it's own way
The houses being tall and narrow are a perfect match for the driftwood boards
