It works with both the EZS7 and EZR7 systems and the self closing lid aids in keeping your trailer plug corrosion free. When used with the EZR7 system, it can hold the dummy plug while towing. It is recommended to mount the holder in a location that prevents the trailer cable from dragging on the ground in the event the trailer
