August Strindberg, Anders Zorn, Swedish, (1860-1920) Monotype Sometimes the adhesive used toEtching, 1910, Ed. 100 ?, H. &H 212, 11 3 4 x 7 11 16, old hinges top margin edge, trace of toning within mat opening, a small rectangular stain lower left corner from a an old gummed nventory label, a few tiny spots of foxing in the margins, signed in pencil, the title penciled bottom left margin, on a fine sheet cream laid paper with full margins. Zorn's portrait of the great playwright, and one of his most celebrated in a strong crisp impression.
