DISRUPTIA CLAY du désordre au spectacleDisruptia by photographer Julie Benatar, made in collaboration with Frances Pine Rinella.Disruptia is a word that Frances and I created to describe the disruption of the societal system that decides when women are human beings or sexual objects. Throughout the process of creating this body of work, I became interested in the tension between form and content, specifically in depicting the female body. I wanted to focus on the tension that exists in our
